Over-night Response System

We will respond to the members and organizations applying for membership over night. The details are as follows:

We will respond to the applicant that sends application or materials to our application mailbox (confed@cnnic.cn) before 4:00 pm on the same day by telling the applicant that we have received the application or materials and have started to consider the application. We will respond to the applicant that submits application after 4:00 pm on the following day in the same manner. We will also implement this system during the application process by responding timely once a day to the member who has submitted new materials. For any organization that has correspondence with CNNIC but does not get a response from CNNIC within one day, please contact us at 010-58813000.

CNNIC’s Alliance Membership and First-time IP Address Application
　　
The organization that submits application materials by email will be notified within one working day by CNNIC after the receipt of the materials by email that CNNIC has begun to consider the application. After the application materials are approved ofapproved, IP Address Allocation Alliance Agreement of CNNIC will be sent by email and payment notice will communicated by phone or sent by email within three working days to the organization that applies for IP address quantity of 64C or less, and the agreement will be sent by email and payment notice will be communicated by phone or sent by email within five to ten working days to the organization that applies for IP address quantity of more than 64C.

The allocation results will be notified by phone or by email within three working days after the receipt of the signed agreement from and the remittance made by the Alliance Member.

Allocation Alliance Agreement of CNNIC

Upon the receipt of the signed and stamped alliance agreement in quadruplicate from the applying organization, CNNIC will stamp them and send two copies to the applying organization by mail.

Subsequent Application for IP Address
　　
CNNIC will notify the applying organization by email within one working day after the receipt of its application materials by email that CNNIC has begun to consider the application.
　　
After the application materials are complete, payment notice will be communicated by phone or sent by email within three working days to the organization that applies for IP address quantity of 64C or less, and payment notice will communicated by phone or sent by email within five to ten working days to the organization that applies for IP address quantity of more than 64C.
　　
CNNIC will communicate the allocation results by phone or by email within three working days after the receipt of the remittance.

AS Number Application
　　
CNNIC will notify the applying organization by email within one working day after the receipt of its application materials by email that CNNIC has begun to consider the application.
　　
After the application materials are approved ofapproved, Allocation Alliance Agreement of CNNIC will be sent by email and payment notice will be communicated by phone or sent by email within two working days to the organization that is not a member of the Allocation Alliance of CNNIC, and allocation results will be communicated by phone or by email within ten working days after the receipt of the signed agreement and remittance. For the applying organization that is a member of allocation alliance of CNNIC, allocation results will be communicated by phone or sent by email within ten working days.

Reverse DNS Resolution Delegation
　　
The member needs to download and fill out Application Form of Reverse DNS Resolution Delegation and send it as an attachment by email to confed@cnnic.cn. CNNIC will notify the applying organization by email that CNNIC has begun to consider the application within one working day and notify the applying organization of the results with four working days.

Invoice
　
After CNNIC confirms the receipt of the fees for application for IP addresses and AS number, it will send the invoice within two working days by registered mail or by courier.
